Beautifully ornate, elegant escutcheon - decorative backplate w/keyhole in solid brass by Keeler Brass Company. These were crafted in the 1970s in the USA. This baroque, brass back-plate with keyhole is a dark brown though underneath lies a fabulous gold or antiqued gold once cleaned. Hence these backplates can be used as is in a Dark Brown on Bright Gold when cleaned. These have a petite keyhole, but the back-plates are large on stately, intricate details! Beautiful edging and top/bottom flourish. They are in excellent condition, thick & a substantial weight. Makers mark visible on the back of each plate. #K1827. Perfect for furniture, cabinets & more.
